Progress with Process

1. What did you accomplish this week?
This week I continues my vegetarian diet. It is almost halfway through March and I am so excited to eat meat again. I am dearly missing it. Going vegetarian makes me hungrier more often because veggies often can't sustain hunger for too long. I often eat many snacks or mini-meals a day. As the doctor predicted, I did not lose weight instead I gained a bit because of my constant hunger issues and how it makes me eat more than usual in a day even though it may be healthier.

2. What are you working on right now?
Right now, I am having fun with different vegetarian recipes, helping my mother cook and research meals. This has been a very eventful journey so far and I enjoy sharing my ride with you. I realized that being vegetarian requires a lot of attention and care as well as perseverance. There have been a couple incidents where I have accidentally eaten a few pieces of meat. I don't think that it has affected me in the slightest so maybe in the future i could go semi-vegetarian to maintain a healthier, more maintained lifestyle.

3. What do you plan to do next week?
Next week I will be continuing my vegetarian lifestyle. I will try new recipes and pay more attention to what I eat and consume. I have learned that being a vegetarian does not make you any healthier than a normal person unless you full put your effort to eat salads every meal but that would lead to protein and iron deficiency which would then lead you to a hospital. That is not our goal/ I hope that I continue to be semi-healthy and will influence others to join the vegetarian animal rights cause.
