Let's Get Back At It

Official 20 Time Refresh
It has been over two months since I last set foot on this blog. Period 3 Bryson's class decided that it was about time to get back on the road so we set up this 20 Time Refresh where we were to inform the class of our progress, struggles, regrets all under 2 minutes within a power point presentation. That was almost two weeks ago. Now, we are here to officially begin our reset with the weekly accountability post.

1. What did you accomplish this week?
Remember that I will be going vegetarian next month which is, essentially, next week. The Refresh was placed almost perfectly and I hope to use this opportunity as a momentous swing along my journey. I have moved on since then proving that everything is starting to get back into motion. This past week I went grocery shopping with my parents, something I haven't done in a while due to the amount of schoolwork and extracurricular activities surrounding my weekends. We pulled up several vegetarian recipes from the internet and decided to try them out. As it was the first vegetarian meal I had experienced, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would but I trust that there are plenty meatless options out in the world in which I have yet to try.

2. What are you working on right now?
I have devised a grocery shopping list for my first week as a vegetarian. I also considered the cost in comparison to what we usually spend each week on groceries. The total happened to be about the same, if not just slightly higher. This has given me a more stable view of what I will be working with for the next month. As for now, I am quite pleased with the amount of work I've done since the Refresh presentation.

3. What do you plan to do next week?
Next week is the week where it all starts. Where I will be officially starting my project and my experience as a vegetarian. I am thoroughly looking forward to it and although it may not be what I expect, I can still benefit from it. I have been sick for awhile now and I hope that this doesn't majorly affect the outcome as well as the fact that I am still at an age of growth. Overall, I believe that this project is coming along nicely even through all the difficulties that have presented themselves along the way.

4. Photo
This is a updated picture of me from this month. Nothing much has changed about my appearance, physically but mentally I have matured and understood more about how procrastination affects everything. Much has been learned, even more than just English language arts and far beyond basic grammar.

5. Revised Deliverable Chart
This is the revised deliverables from January through March. From this, you can really see the change in progress and how this refresh has made a big difference.

January- research
February- preparations for following month
March- going vegetarian!

Conclusion
I really appreciate this Refresh and how it has helped us realize the importance of the project altogether. I really missed being able to put up quality posts on this blog and now I have the ability to share more of my experience with you. I have been through procrastination, struggles, and a handful of regrets but with the future in mind, I will be able to make up for my mistakes.
